Personalized Therapy Plans for Children’s Speech, Language, Motor, Self Care, and Sensory Needs
Our commitment to your child's growth begins with an assessment of your child’s speech, language and occupational therapy needs. From these insights a comprehensive therapy plan is formulated, ensuring a tailored approach to meet the child's specific objectives. Engaging and evidence-based, our play based therapy sessions are designed to cover all areas of concern.
Assessment
Our experienced therapists conduct thorough assessments, including standardized testing, developmental history, and clinical observations. These tailored evaluations, conducted over one or multiple sessions, identify areas of difficulty. Together, we will review results and provide a comprehensive written report with goals, objectives, and supplemental therapy strategies.
Therapy Plan
Based on the assessment results, we create a personalized therapy plan that addresses your child's specific speech, language, and occupational needs. This plan outlines the goals, strategies, and activities that will be used during therapy sessions.
Therapy Sessions
Therapy is play based and designed to engage the child so they become an active participant in the therapy process. Your child is made to feel at ease so they begin working on areas of concern in a stress free, comfortable environment.
Therapy objectives are targeted as we engage in fun activities such as sensory activities, motor movement, art projects, music and games. Activities are kept simple and motivating so your child can focus their resources on improving their speech, language, and occupational skills. Functional ideas are also provided so you can practice at home to improve generalization of learned skills.
Progress Monitoring
Throughout the therapy process, we continuously monitor your child's progress and make adjustments to their therapy plan as needed. We believe in open communication with families and providing regular updates on your child's achievements and areas for improvement.
Your child may be also be receiving other therapies from school services and/or private therapists. Ongoing communication will be implemented between all members of your child’s team via communication notebooks, emails, phone calls and meetings to ensure coordination of care.
